A DEEPER LOOK AT OUR WEEKLY EVENTS & OUT OF BOUNDS.

Entry is only $2 per person for all divisions and everyone is welcome to participate. There is also a $5 optional ace pot and a $5 optional side bet for those who want to play for $$$.

We track all players averages and regulate divisions for every player to create a competitive event. All players start in Silver and then your score determines your division from that point. Once you have 4 scores logged, we “lock” you into that division and continue to use your most recent 4 scores to determine your average. Once your average advances to the next division, you move up automatically but you will not move back down automatically. We created this system to create competitive and fun play, and with over 5 years of data, we have determined that once a player has shown their ability to play at a certain level, they generally should remain in the higher division. That being said, we do realize some players will have a good streak and play well above their average but then not be able to remain competitive at the higher level. Also, injuries or personal time off can affect a player’s skill. In those instances, we will approve moving a player back down. It just doesn’t happen automatically because we would like to personally analyze the data and approve the drop.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Dollar League Extra Details” tab_id=”1677787365294-7c57e0df-6b10″][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1677787399130{padding-top: 20px !important;padding-right: 20px !important;padding-bottom: 20px !important;padding-left: 20px !important;}”]Our Dollar League runs in roughly 3 month sections at different times of the year. During a season, a player can pay $1 extra during sign ups to log that score to their season. At the end of the season, we take each player’s best 5 scores and average them for their final score. We came up with this system for a couple reasons. One, we want player’s to feel encouraged to enter and not worried that they won’t be able to play enough. You only need to play 5 times during a 3 month period. We really like this system because most people participate and if you can only make it 5 times, the players that can make it every Saturday do not automatically win. We only take their 5 best scores as well. We like this approach better than awarding points or other commonly used approaches because it does not give an impossible advantage to certain players just because they can play more often. While you do still get the advantage of “more chances to score well” if you can participate more, it still only takes your 5 best scores which puts everyone on an equal playing field.

This League is also regulated in the same divisions to promote competitive and fun play. The one difference with the divisions in the league, is if a player ranks up during the middle of a season, we don’t actually move them up in the league itself. Even though you will be playing in your new higher rank during the Saturday mini, you will stay in your lower division for the season, till the end of that season. To understand this, it’s important to take note that during a Saturday mini, there is always a set of winners based solely on that day, who get the payouts for that day. The $1 fees for the League get saved up and payed out in 100% cash to the winners of the season, at the end of the season.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Friday Night Doubles Extra Details” tab_id=”1677787405613-ab8c2e7c-42b9″][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1677787450080{padding-top: 20px !important;padding-right: 20px !important;padding-bottom: 20px !important;padding-left: 20px !important;}”]During the Spring/Summer, we play a bring your own partner doubles tournament every Friday at 6:00 pm. The doubles format is a team format where both players throw the shot and then you continue from the best lie.

This is played on our standard 18 hole layout. It’s $5 entry per person and an option $5 ace pot per person. It is a bring your own partner event so you can sign up with a teammate.  You can also sign up as a solo who needs a partner and we will pair you up with another player that needs a partner. In the event that we end up with one odd person out, they can still play “Cali”. Cali in our event means that you only pay your one $5 entry and but then you can re-throw one shot per each hole.

This event pays out 100% in cash to the winners of the event. The amount of winners is based on how many teams play but it usually pays about 2-4 teams. The Ace Pot is usually around $250+.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Friday Glow Doubles Extra Details” tab_id=”1677787455181-7abe9cff-fc19″][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1677787486231{padding-top: 20px !important;padding-right: 20px !important;padding-bottom: 20px !important;padding-left: 20px !important;}”]This event is exactly like the regular Doubles event described above, but with the following exceptions. It’s played during the Fall/Winter months when it gets dark much earlier. Players use glow in the dark discs and throw at baskets that we light up with colorful LED lights that light the entire basket for great visibility and also just a really cool ambiance. You can also use glow tape, glow stickers or LED lights that tape onto discs, to turn your current discs into glowing discs for night golf.

We play this event on our Blackout Course which is 9 standard holes and 9 extra short holes designed specifically for playing at night. We really like this mix for night golf. The short holes are really great for night golf because its harder to see the fairways and we have designed these holes to have mostly clear paths to the baskets. Not needing to avoid trees along with shortened holes between 100ft-200ft is really fun for ace running at night. But, we also find that including 9 standard holes allows the score cards to actually have some separation which brings the friendly competition into focus. When we used to play night rounds using only the short boxes, scores are all way too close to make a solid competition.

We do carry all the necessary equipment for glow in the dark disc golf, in our pro shop, if you need anything.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][/vc_tta_accordion][/vc_column][/vc_row]
