Diamond Flight Paths & Understable Lift
This fairway driver is mechanically tuned to maximize distance lines at lower release velocities. Boasting a substantial -3 high-speed turn and a massive 6-glide rating, the Diamond actively tilts into a long, sweeping turnover path almost immediately out of the hand. It requires very little throwing energy to activate this lateral drift. Because its low-speed fade is a minimal 1, it refuses to crash hard or hook aggressively at the end of its flight, instead gently panning flat to ensure a straight, forward-penetrating landing profile.
The Ultra-Lightweight Slim Wing
The defining physical characteristic of the Diamond is its specialized factory weight configuration, produced almost exclusively in light classes scaling between 150 and 159 grams. That along with its very high glide and understability. This reduced mass minimizes physical inertia, allowing players to accelerate the disc rapidly through the hit pocket with less muscle exertion. The rim shape features a narrow, comfortable 8-speed wing depth paired with a gradual, domey flight plate that generates high aerodynamic lift, keeping the disc airborne far longer than standard-weight fairway alternatives.
On-Course Applications
- Slower Arm Velocities: The Diamond serves as a primary tool for breaking through distance plateaus. Its light structure and high understability act as a natural counter to premature stalling, helping newer players, juniors, and senior throwers maintain a straight, high, and long-carrying trajectory down the fairway.
- Advanced Tailwind & Roller Shots: For experienced arms with higher power, this mold operates as a specialized utility asset. It stands as a choice for effortless sky-anhyzers that must never fade back, long-carrying tailwind bombs that ride the air currents, and easy tailwind rollers that lay down cleanly on the ground.
