The Innova Rollo is an ultra-understable 5-speed mid-range purpose-built to take the difficulty out of throwing ground rollers and extreme turnover lines. Featuring flight numbers of 5 | 6 | -4 | 1, this highly specialized tool flips effortlessly with minimal initial power, providing accessible shot shaping for players of all experience levels.

Rollo Flight Dynamics & Forced Turnovers

This mold is structurally engineered to maximize high-speed turn and minimize low-speed resistance. Carrying an intense -4 turn rating and a massive 6-glide profile, the Rollo flips completely flat from a steep hyzer angle with very little muscle exertion. When launched flat, it shifts immediately into a right-trending drift (for right-handed backhand throws) that glides deep downfield continuing to the right. Because its low-speed fade is a mere 1, it refuses to fight back or hook to the left at the end of its line, instead tracking softly and settling completely flat on the grass.

The Sharp Fairway-Style Mid-Range Wing

While classified as a 5-speed mid-range, the physical profile of the Rollo does not share the boxy, vertical rim configuration typical of standard mid-ranges. Instead, it features a remarkably low-profile, shallow rim paired with a slightly sharp, aerodynamic nose that mimics a fairway driver. The beadless underside of the wing drops smoothly into a micro-dome top plate. This unique geometry allows the fingers to establish a highly compact, tight grip pocket, eliminating the risk of finger drag or release catching during full-power snaps.

On-Course Ground Rollers & Utility Applications

  • Effortless Ground Rollers: The Rollo is specifically optimized to stand up on its edge. When launched on a standard 45-degree anhyzer angle, the extreme understability forces the disc to land cleanly on its rim, standing upright instantly and rolling long, straight distances down the fairway without immediately curling over into the rough.
  • Finesse Woods Scrambling: For tight, low-ceiling corridors where a traditional forehand sidearm is blocked, the Rollo serves as an exceptional backhand alternative. It enables throwers to execute low-velocity, touch-panning shots that effortlessly navigate sharp dogleg-right corners without stalling out early.
