The classic Innova Leopard (6 | 5 | -2 | 1) requires minimal arm speed to activate its flight path, offering a smooth, sweeping turn and high natural glide that yields easy distance. The modern Leopard3 (7 | 5 | -2 | 1) is built to handle increased velocity. It features a touch more torque resistance off the tee, allowing players with faster arm speeds to throw hard without worrying about the disc turning over completely and burning into the ground.

The 3-Series Rim & Profile Differences

The core physical difference between these two discs lies in their side-profile geometry and rim speed dimensions. The original Leopard has a narrower 6-speed rim width paired with a traditional, slightly domed flight plate that enhances slow-speed lift. Conversely, the Leopard3 features a slightly wider 7-speed rim architecture combined with Innova's signature flat "3-Series" top. This flatter shape reduces aerodynamic drag, feels shallower in the hand, and ensures a cleaner, friction-free release for both backhand power grips and smooth forehand sidearm touch shots.

• Newer & Developing Players: The original Leopard serves as a highly forgiving first driver. Its slower speed requirement and high glide allow developing arms to achieve straight fairway distance before a very soft, gentle finish.
• Advanced Arms & Power Throwers: The Leopard3 functions as a surgical, shapeable fairway workhorse. It is an ideal tool for long, high-velocity hyzer-flips that pop to flat and carry straight, controlled sweeping turnovers, and precise woods scrambling where hitting narrow gaps is mandatory.
