Elevation Bendy Uktena

The Elevation Bendy Uktena is an 11-speed distance driver built to snake its way through the course with a controllable, slightly understable flight. Inspired by the Uktena — a powerful, cunning creature from Cherokee legends — this disc is aggressive off the tee and glides through the sky just like the legend itself. This is Elevation Disc Golf's first disc made from plastic, and it marks a major milestone for the brand.

The Uktena was designed by Austin Minocci, with the name and story created in partnership with Drake Bendabout of the Cherokee Tribe of Oklahoma. Drake grew up on stories of the Uktena and worked with his Uncle Choogie Kingfisher — a Cherokee National Treasure for his storytelling — to bring this idea to life. Drake hopes the disc brings awareness to the Cherokee people and their rich culture of stories. He also illustrated and designed the art for the official stamp on this first run.

Flight Characteristics

The Uktena carves through the course with speed and control. Its slight understability gives players the ability to work anhyzer lines and hyzer-flip shots, while the reliable fade at the end keeps it honest. Legend has it that if you can master the Uktena and capture its crystal, you can become very powerful — come see if the legends are true.
