The Discraft Z Sled is a putt and approach disc designed for control, touch, and reliable placement. Inspired by the rolling hills of Toboggan — one of the courses set for the 2026 PDGA World Championships — the Sled isn't trying to be the fastest disc in your bag. It's built to give you a workable approach option with a clean, manageable flight for the shots where accuracy matters more than distance.

Whether you're attacking a tight landing zone, shaping a short forehand, or controlling speed into the green, the Sled is a disc you can lean on without feeling like you have to overpower it. Molded in Discraft's durable Z plastic for a consistent, dependable flight round after round.

Flight Characteristics

The Sled flies with a slight high-speed turn and a moderate, predictable fade. Its low speed and glide make it exceptionally controllable — easy to get a little flip out of it, with a finish you can count on every time.

  • Speed: 3 | Glide: 2 | Turn: -1 | Fade: 2

Features

  • Z Plastic — Semi-translucent, slicker, and stiffer polymer that maintains its original overstable flight path even after hitting numerous trees. Highly durable with dependable wind resistance and a consistent flight pattern that holds up over time
  • Rolled Thumb Track — Comfortable, secure grip for consistent releases
  • Rounded Wing & Nose — Similar feel to the Luna and Roach for players already in the Discraft lineup
  • Inspired by the 2026 PDGA World Championships course at Toboggan

Who Is This Disc For?

  • Beginner/Amateur: A forgiving approach disc that rewards accuracy and clean form over power
  • Intermediate/Advanced: A reliable bag staple for controlled approach shots, touch forehands, short placement shots, and angle control in any wind condition
