Test out super-high-speed distance with the Dino Discs Egg Shell Glow T-Rex. This understable 14-speed distance driver offers high-speed turn when thrown fast enough, followed by a noticeable finishing fade. Its super-light weight makes it an option for exploring faster drivers, but the speed and rim size still make it a challenging throw for smaller kids and lower arm speeds. Egg Shell Glow plastic glows in the dark for night disc golf.
Flight Characteristics
The T-Rex shows its high-speed turn when you can generate enough speed, then fades as it slows down. Reaching that speed is the challenge: its 14-speed design and rim size can be difficult for smaller kids and lower-arm-speed players to manage. Combined with its finishing fade, that makes it a tougher Dino Disc to throw. The super-light weight helps, but does not remove the power needed to get its full flight.

Features
- Egg Shell Glow Plastic: A grippy blend with a feel between baseline and premium plastics that glows in the dark for night disc golf. It offers more durability than traditional baseline putter plastics, but less resistance to wear than premium blends.
- Super-Lightweight Design: Light weights offer a way to experiment with a super-high-speed driver, though getting it up to speed still takes power.
- High-Speed Turn and Finishing Fade: Turn emerges with sufficient throwing speed, followed by a noticeable fade as the disc slows.
- Floats in Water: Lightweight construction allows the T Rex to float.
Who Is This Disc For?
- Players Exploring Super-High-Speed Drivers: Players who want to test a 14-speed distance driver in a super-light weight.
- Developing Players with More Power: Throwers with enough speed to bring out the T-Rex's high-speed turn.
- Smaller Kids and Lower Arm Speeds: Expect a challenge from the speed, rim size, and finishing fade. The light weight helps, but this is not an easy first driver.
- Casual Play: Recreational rounds and practice outside sanctioned tournament play.
Not PDGA Approved
Dino Discs meet PDGA technical specifications, and many give previously approved molds from other brands a new life. The brand skips the paid approval process to keep prices down for its core audience: kids learning the game, not competing in sanctioned tournaments. So while they are not PDGA approved, they do meet the requirements.
These discs are not PDGA approved and are intended for casual play, not sanctioned PDGA tournaments.
