The Axiom Neutron Paradox is one of the most understable midranges on the market. With flight numbers of 5 | 4 | -4 | 0, it's a disc built specifically for players who need significant turn — whether that's a beginner looking for a straight-flying first midrange or an experienced player reaching for a utility shot.

Flight Characteristics

The -4 turn is the defining characteristic here — this disc wants to turn. At higher arm speeds it will turn hard and stay turned, making it useful for rollers, big anhyzer lines and hyzer flips. At lower arm speeds, the turn is more controlled, allowing it to flip up from a hyzer and fly relatively straight. The 0 fade means there's no reliable overstable finish to pull it back — what you put in is what you get out.

  • Speed: 5 | Glide: 4 | Turn: -4 | Fade: 0

Features

  • Neutron Plastic — Axiom's premium blend offering a solid balance of durability and grip. Holds its flight characteristics well over time and handles hard impacts without significant warping.
  • GYRO™ Technology — Axiom's overmold rim construction adds gyroscopic stability and a consistent feel across throws
  • Extreme understability — one of the most understable midranges available; not a disc for players who need a straight or overstable flight unless you have very low arm speed. Then it may go straight for you.

Who Is This Disc For?

  • Beginner / Low Power: Players with slower arm speeds will find the Paradox flips up from a hyzer and flies relatively straight — making it a usable first midrange if you're still developing power. Or if you're having trouble finding a disc that will actually turn over.
  • Intermediate / Advanced — Utility Use: Experienced players can use the Paradox for rollers, big anhyzers, and low-speed flip-up shots where a more stable disc simply won't turn enough. It's a specialty tool, not an everyday driver.
  • Woods / Technical Courses: The controllable turn at moderate speeds makes it a reasonable option for tight wooded lines where you need the disc to turn over without a lot of power behind it.
