Discraft was born out of pure passion — and a little frustration.

When the flying disc craze swept the 1970s, the founders of Discraft were hooked. Watching a spinning disc carve through the air was, in their words, truly a beautiful thing. But the discs available at the time couldn't keep up. Flight patterns were inconsistent, distance potential was low, and the overall quality fell flat. Those discs were built to be toys — and serious players deserved better.

In 1978, Discraft launched with a singular mission: to build high-performance sports equipment worthy of the athletes throwing them.

Nearly five decades later, that mission hasn't wavered. Through persistent innovation, rigorous research and development, and an unwavering commitment to quality, Discraft has grown into a global leader across two major disc sports — Disc Golf and Ultimate.   • ESP Line
    This pro-caliber plastic blend is highly durable and engineered for long-lasting performance. It is specifically characterized by a tacky grip that ensures consistent releases and a confident feel in the hand across various weather conditions. Visually, it is an opaque plastic known for its unique, multi-color swirled aesthetics.
  • Z Line
    This is a firm, premium material built with exceptional longevity and a clean release across all weather conditions. It is engineered to be a slow-seasoning material that retains its original flight characteristics and long-lasting stability over a long lifespan of consistent use. Visually, it is semi-translucent with vibrant colors.
  • Big Z Line
    Big Z takes the superior durability and sturdy feel of the standard Z Line plastic and modifies it to feature a solid, completely opaque color with a slightly more flexible feel in the hand. This blend is built to comfortably withstand tree impacts. Visually, it is defined by large, unique character artwork that heavily pops off the face of the disc.
  • Titanium Line (Ti)
    Known for high-performance properties, this premium line focuses equally on looks and performance. It is built with a sleek, metallic finish and a slightly textured grip. It delivers ultra-premium durability coupled with a highly comfortable, tacky feel in the hand for consistent releases.

  • Jawbreaker Line
    A specialized plastic line built specifically for visual style and short-game functionality. It features a unique, gritty texture that provides an extra-tacky, superior grip for maximum control in tough or wet conditions. Visually, it is famous for its distinct, multi-colored marbled or "candy-sprinkled" look.
  • Putter Line
    This is Discraft's baseline tier plastic. It is explicitly engineered to offer the absolute best grip at the best value across the entire lineup. It is highly favored for putters because of its high-traction feel, though it is softer and seasons much quicker than premium blends. It comes in different firmnesses.
  • X Line
    Positioned as a mid-tier bridge between economy baseline and high-end premium plastics, the X Line focuses strictly on providing an optimal blend of added durability and consistent grip at an affordable price point.

Specialty Eco & Lightweight Lines

  • Recycled ESP Line
    An eco-friendly variant that offers an exceptional, tacky feel and durable construction without compromising on performance. It is crafted entirely from sustainable materials to minimize environmental impact while maintaining the exact same trusted grip, control, and flight characteristics as the standard premium ESP plastic.
  • Z Lite
    Built as a lightweight modification of the premium Z Line plastic. It keeps the high-durability, firm, and translucent properties of the standard Z blend but is dropped down significantly in weight to provide an extra-glidey carry and effortless distance for slower arm speeds.
