Dino Discs Info and Plastic Guide
Dino Discs was born out of pure passion — and a little frustration.
When families took their kids out to the disc golf course, they quickly realized a major problem. Traditional disc golf discs were built for adults. Weighing 150 to 175 grams, these discs were far too heavy for young children, seniors, and players with slow arm speeds. Instead of carving beautiful flight paths, heavy discs would immediately dump into the ground. They were too frustrating for kids to throw — and serious young players deserved better.
In 2021, Dino Discs launched with a singular mission: to build ultra-lightweight high-performance sports equipment that helps small children and beginners build confidence and throw further.
Through industry collaboration with partners like ABC Discs, Gateway Disc Sports, and Doomsday Discs, Dino Discs modifies existing molds to create ultra-lightweight discs (110–140 grams) featuring kid-friendly graphics and Zing Polymers floating plastic.
